 Introduction to my blog/vlog

Have you ever wondered what it means to be human?

I have decided to blog my journey, be it my Spiritual journey, or my writing journey. All of these quests are interconnected. I am nearly thirty-five and I am diagnosed with Schizoaffective. I'll share stories about that too. I'll share about romance and in the future marriage tips.  I'll share poetry. Perhaps I will invest a lot of energy in this blog when motivated.

I am going to examine my own humanity, and hope to connect with the reader's humanity. From time to time I'll discuss Bible verses, and what they mean to me. I'll discuss the importance of suffering, and coping mechanisms that are working for me and my volatile mental health. I will discuss poetry and songwriting. I will share life lessons and the things I am learning. This blog is about living and learning, growing and becoming complete. I hope to honor God, and to help people somehow, showing that we're all in this together. Lets have the faith to leap out of the boat.

Introduction to the rant

Schizo-affective? Well perhaps I am eccentric. Okay I am really eccentric, but where is that fine line between personality traits and the label of Mental illness? Furthermore where is the hair between psychotic delusions and religious spiritual experiences? For as Christians know this world is as much about the invisible powers as the visible ones-even more so. So why are psychiatrists treating the brain as just an organ when there is so much more to it then that? Simple. They refuse to believe in God, His healing, His power, His mercy. After all He is the one who created our minds.

Evolutionary ideas are holding back true scientific progress! If we stopped believing that only the strong survive, and considered every human being intrinsically valuable no matter their stature then we would advance in medical prowess.  We might even understand that every attack on the mind is somehow related to the supernatural, especially against followers of the Way. Today the whole world is in a state of chaos, and it is high time we begin to Love each other! In truth that is the second greatest commandment.

How do we practice this 'ideal'? We must be born again, of water and of Spirit. We cannot be saved without confessing and believing that Jesus Christ is Lord and He died for our sins. That is the beginning-the beginning of an eternity long journey with the Triune God! Christ washes our fear and our guilt and makes us not only innocent, but righteous. All labels, medications and diagnosis aside, when we repent we are forgiven! When we forgive others (from the heart) we are forgiven. When we jump into Father's arms as little children, we are forgiven! What manner of Love is this? Oh indeed, what manner?

Sometimes it is good for the soul to taper off into an ASMR'tic rant.
